Cut the meat into flat pieces (5-10) x 5 cm, fry, and place as the first layer in a baking dish. Season with pepper.
Chop the onion and place it on top of the meat. I don't like onions, so I skip this step.
Cut the potatoes into thin slices. Place as the next layer in the dish. Top with seasonings of your choice (I use garlic and potato seasoning). The layers (meat and potatoes) should be roughly the same height.
Thinly slice the tomatoes and place them on top of the seasoned potatoes.
Mix the sour cream with mayo; to make it thinner, I add a little milk. Spread it over the tomatoes.
Layer with grated cheese. More cheese for the god of cheese.
Bake for about an hour at 180-200 degrees Celsius. If the potatoes are al dente, bake for another half hour.
